Does Invisalign Hurt?

What about check-ups? With Invisalign®, there’s no need for unpleasant tightening appointments. You’ll wear your aligners for a few weeks, then come to our office and replace them with a new set that  will be designed to subtly shift your teeth a little bit further in the right direction. For the first few days after wearing a new aligner, your teeth will feel sore because the aligner is moving your teeth. Most patients feel fine after taking an over-the-counter pain reliever.

Finally, removing – and applying – your aligners is a snap. You just slide the aligners over your teeth, then slide them off at meal times. No hassle, no pain.
